Those of you who follow me on Twitter (and why wouldn’t you? I’m harmless enough) may have seen that I’ve become a little more active recently. I’m happy to announce that I have a slowly growing following, and that I have decided to spread to another account.
So, just to be clear on which shape goes into which hole, here’s a brief rundown of what I have and why I did it…
@Odd_Gamer – this is my personal Twitter account. I try and keep it clean, and gaming related – expect many tweets. I also occasionally retweet my other accounts if it’s something I feel everyone should be aware of, as I have the most followers (by a lot) on this account.
@Odd_Notes – this account is used to show off the latest posts I have for this site – as I discuss almost everything imaginable on this site, it stays pretty quiet. But if you want to check up on my latest writings, and do not want to type in the address (I know it’s long), check here instead.
@ScrapMetalTCG – this is the new account, and I’m trying to make it rather lively. I recently upgraded the site to www.scrapmetaltcg.com and gave it a fresh lick of paint, and all updates for Scrap Metal TCG will be posted here. I’ll also post the latest work that I am involved in, and give insight into the history of the game. If you follow this blog for info on Scrap Metal TCG, follow – you will be pleased.
I have also added links to both sites for my second home on the internet, which is the Mature Gamer Podcast. As some of you may know, I used to write frequently for them, and it is something that I would love to go back to when I have more time. I’m still active on their forums however, which I urge you all to join, and they very nicely gave me a shout-out on their new podcast, Mature Gamer Night Shift – if you haven’t heard of it, please use your favourite podcast software to locate and give it a listen – it is excellent.
In other news this week, it has come to my attention that I am now classed as an Indie Developer. Although this may not be news to a lot of you, it is to me; I never considered myself an Indie Developer before, but it is true.
The latest works that I have made for Scrap Metal are being created in the evenings in glorious 3D, and I urge you to visit the site regularly for updates.
I am looking to get play-testers for the game once it has been completed and a test model is available – more information closer to the time, methinks, but it’s something to let you all know.
So, the shameless self promotion is over, for now. As always, I have to ask that, if you are looking to purchase from Amazon, you use either the link from my sites, or maybe the link on Mature Gamer Podcast – it costs nothing extra to use, but Amazon will throw a bone to us for the trouble. Nothing to lose whatsoever.
Have a good week everyone, hopefully more news next week!
