Over the past few days, I have been talking to several Mature Gamer Podcast forumites (not heard of the Mature Gamer Podcast? Hit the link to the right and check them out), mostly with regards to the upcoming MGPX, or Mature Gamer Podcast eXpo in Peterborough.
After a short chat, one of the hosts asked if I would mind bringing up Scrap Metal TCG for a test, to which I agreed. And so, it is with great pleasure that I announce the first play-test of Scrap Metal TCG will be on Saturday, 20th of July in Peterborough, at MGPX.
I have warned them that it will be a bare-bones affair, with none of the handsome graphics that I design all on my own – it will literally be plain white card with stats printed on – if I get time, I’ll include rough drawings of what the parts will look like when designed.
It’s really quite amazing how fast this is picking up. I’m gaining followers on Twitter, I see the view count on the site rising on average, and people seem genuinely interested. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for showing even the smallest interest, this project means a lot to me.
So, what would you be interested in seeing following the play test? Feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you want to see out of it. Remember, once the play-test is finished I should be very close to designing a final draft of the game, so anything you want to ask about will help.
Thanks again for the support!
